I just had a fight and i didn't get the bonus from fighting defensively. It shows up on my characher sheet, but not in the combat roll result. i have 22 ac normally, 24 with fighting defensively, the attack rolled 23. I wasn't flatfotted, i had made an attack which incurred -4. I have seen several people talking about this several years ago. Why is this still …

I tought that you have to activate it (click on it) and make an attack and the attack will guilt as attack with defensive fighting (+2 AC and - 4 attack rolls). But sometimes when a character starts its round and I deactivate the DF and then make an attack the attack still guilts as with DF.
